The official Botsdex logos, symbol, colors and type, with the rules for using them. This kit is for press, partners, sellers and anyone else who shows the Botsdex name outside our own pages. Use the files as supplied and follow these guidelines, so the brand and its marks appear the same wherever they are published.
The symbol and the BOTSDEX letters, locked together. Use the color logo wherever you can, and the one-color versions when the background or the print process needs them.
Clear space
Keep an empty margin around the logo equal to the height of the symbol, marked x. Nothing else, text, edges or other logos, goes inside it.
Minimum size
Below 96 px wide on screen, or 25 mm in print, the letters stop reading. Where the logo has to be smaller, use the symbol on its own, from 16 px.
The X from the logo, used on its own where the full logo does not fit: app icons, favicons and social avatars. Never set it next to the word Botsdex as a stand-in for the logo; use the logo file instead.
For avatars and app icons, use the square tiles: the symbol sits at half the tile width, so it stays clear of the edge whether a platform shows a square, rounded corners or a crop.
In text, the name is one word with a capital B. The all-caps BOTSDEX is the logo's lettering, and stays in the logo.
Use the files as supplied. Don't redraw, rearrange or decorate them.
A cool palette: indigo for the brand and for action, ink and navy for depth, and plenty of white. Indigo is the only bright color, so it always means Botsdex.
