ANYbotics is a Zurich company founded in 2016 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich's legged robotics research. It builds ANYmal, a four-legged robot that carries visual, thermal and acoustic sensors on autonomous inspection rounds through industrial plants, climbing stairs and crossing rough ground, and ANYmal X, an explosion-proof version certified for Zone 1 hazardous areas. Its customers run power plants and utilities, mines and metals sites, oil and gas facilities, chemical plants and railways, and plan and review routine inspection missions in its software.
