Fleet legal terms
Fleet Terms
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1.Scope and role
Fleet may help you organize robots, sites, operators, deployments, maintenance, status information, and related records. Botsdex does not own, manufacture, install, operate, or insure the robots in your fleet unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Fleet information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate because it depends on devices, networks, integrations, user input, third-party services, and site conditions. Treat it as an administrative aid, not as the sole source for a safety-critical decision.
3.Fleet data and privacy
You retain ownership of data you submit or connect to Fleet. You grant Botsdex the limited rights needed to host, secure, process, display, back up, support, and improve the Fleet service. You are responsible for having the notices, consents, contracts, and other legal bases needed for personal, location, video, operational, customer, employee, and telemetry data you connect.
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled. Do not upload sensitive information unless Fleet supports the use and you have configured the required access controls. Notify Botsdex promptly about unauthorized access or a suspected security incident.
4.Devices and integrations
You are responsible for compatible devices, network access, power, credentials, firmware, API permissions, and third-party accounts. You authorize Botsdex to send or receive information through an integration only to the extent you configure or approve it.
Third-party devices and services have their own terms, warranties, outages, and data practices. Botsdex does not guarantee that an integration will remain available, preserve every historical field, or support every device version.
5.Availability and support
We may perform maintenance, update the software, change supported integrations, limit usage, or suspend access to address security, capacity, legal, or operational requirements. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material planned changes when practicable.
Fleet support is not a guarantee of uptime, response time, robot availability, data completeness, or recovery from a device or site failure unless a separate written service level applies.
6.Suspension and data export
Botsdex may suspend or terminate Fleet access for breach, nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, unsafe operation, or a request from a device or integration provider. You remain responsible for the robots and sites during any suspension.
Where practicable, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export available data before termination. Export may exclude internal security data, third-party data, backups, or information that we must retain for legal, fraud, safety, or dispute purposes.
7.Responsibility and contact
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access, unsafe operation, inaccurate configuration, unlawful data, or a failure to maintain required safeguards. Nothing in these Fleet Terms limits a right that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
