FANUC is a Japanese maker of CNC systems and industrial robots, based at the foot of Mount Fuji in Oshino, Yamanashi. Its roots go back to a numerical control project started at Fujitsu in 1955, and it became an independent company in 1972. The robot range runs from compact LR Mate and SCARA models to heavy handling arms, alongside delta pickers, paint robots, ARC Mate welding robots and CRX collaborative robots, used by automotive, electronics, metalworking, food and logistics sites for handling, welding, painting and palletizing.
