Unitree Robotics G1

Unitree G1 is a compact humanoid, 1.32 m tall and about 35 kg, used for embodied AI research, education and demonstrations. Its joints turn through unusually wide angles, and the whole robot folds down to 69 cm. Unitree develops its movement with imitation and reinforcement learning and improves it through over-the-air updates. A depth camera and 3D LiDAR provide spatial perception, while a four-microphone array and speaker support voice interaction. The standard G1 has 23 degrees of freedom and runs about 2 hours on a quick-release battery. The G1 EDU edition expands to as many as 43, adds optional force-controlled three-fingered hands and opens the robot to secondary development.
