Send deliveries up to the room without sending staff. FlashBot is Pudu's building delivery robot for hotels and office buildings, calling and riding elevators on its own to bring ordered items, takeaways and parcels across floors. When it arrives, it lets the customer know by text message with a pickup code or by phone call.
Three RGB-D cameras and customized LiDAR SLAM handle 3D mapping, path planning and people tracking, spotting obstacles as low as 3 cm and suspended obstacles 70 cm off the floor. A six-wheel independent suspension adjusts its damping to the floor and rolls over 2 cm obstacles and 3.5 cm gaps, and its modular compartment has a built-in UV germicidal lamp. Pudu has also integrated FlashBot with Otis elevators in Japan through Otis's cloud dispatch technology.
When the battery runs low, it gives a voice alert and an on-screen notice and returns to its dock, and its 15.6 Ah battery lasts up to 12 hours. Through the PUDU Scheduler system it works alongside other Pudu robots on the same network, with up to 20 robots scheduled together.
