Autonomous scrubbing sized for tight commercial spaces. Kas is Avidbots' compact autonomous floor scrubbing robot, built for retail stores and malls, health care, education, airports and transit, and light-duty warehouses. It scrubs a 552 mm path with twin disc brushes or standard floor pads, turns around in 1.55 m and passes through aisles from 1.05 m wide, so it reaches more of a busy floor.
Fifteen onboard sensors, two 2D LiDARs, three 3D sensors, four cliff sensors and six RGB cameras, give it 360° visibility. Avidbots Autonomy plans the route, avoids obstacles in real time and adapts with Advanced Dynamic Planning when objects, layouts or floor plans change, and Kas pauses when something enters its safety zone or it detects a cliff or ledge. Operators work from a rear touchscreen secured by a four-digit passcode.
Separate 45 L solution and 46 L recovery tanks mean it never recycles its dirty water, and up to 36 kg of head pressure at up to 400 rpm tackles tough messes. Avidbots gives a maximum theoretical output of 2,186 m² an hour and 500 to 1,000 m² an hour in practice. Exchangeable lithium iron phosphate batteries run about 3 hours per set, and Avidbots Command Center lets you monitor, manage and measure every clean remotely in real time.
