The KIRA BR 50 is Kärcher's compact autonomous scrubber-dryer for hard and resilient floors in retail, healthcare and public facilities. Its cylindrical roller brush head pre-sweeps coarse debris and scrubs in a single pass across a 559 mm width, and an integrated side brush cleans right up to the edge.
Setup is quick: staff follow the guidance on a large touch display, then teach and edit autonomous routes without expert knowledge. High-performance sensors and navigation software detect obstacles and drop-offs and steer around them, the robot is safety certified for use in public areas, and it can also be driven manually. A web portal, cleaning reports, mobile notifications and a calendar function help you plan and track the work.
The 55 L fresh and waste water tanks cover about 1,830 m² per filling, with speed-dependent water dosing and the DOSE detergent system, and Kärcher rates its theoretical autonomous output at 2,365 m² an hour. Two lithium iron phosphate batteries run about 4 hours, and for fully autonomous operation the optional docking station fills fresh water, drains and rinses the dirty water tank and recharges the batteries.
