Lightweight robot dog that flips, jumps gaps and climbs 40° slopes, in four versions.
A lightweight robot dog made for research, education and development. Lite3 is DEEP Robotics' bionic quadruped, which the company describes as offering higher driving force, a more accurate algorithm, better environmental interaction and a wide choice of expansion modules. Depending on the version it weighs 12 to 13.5 kg, and every version walks up 40° slopes and 18 cm steps and runs 1.5 to 2 hours per charge.
Its joint modules deliver 50% more torque than its predecessor's, with high torque density and response bandwidth. DEEP Robotics' launch announcement describes a peak speed of 4 m/s along with high jumps, horizontal jumps and front flips. Every version stops for obstacles in front and behind and can visually follow a person. The Pro and LiDAR versions add forward obstacle avoidance, and the LiDAR version also navigates autonomously.
Choose from four versions. Basic carries a 5 kg walking load over a 5 km range, and Venture adds two Ethernet ports and an external power interface. Pro and LiDAR add USB 3.0 and HDMI, with walking loads of 4 kg and 2.5 kg. Every version comes with models, a motion control SDK and APIs plus perception development interfaces with sample code, and its modular design is built to take additional modules.
Advanced specialist. Handles several related jobs across one domain.
